My Laser System Is Showing an Error Message. What Should I Do?

Please consult our manual first (blue folder). Possible causes and their remedies can be found in the section “Messages and troubleshooting”.

I Was Unable to Remedy the Eerror Myself. What Should I Do Next?

If you were unable to fix the error using the operating instructions, please contact our service department. If you purchased your laser through one of our distribution partners, please contact the distribution partner. If you have purchased your ALPHA LASER directly from us, you can contact our service department by e-mail at service@alphalaser.de or in urgent cases by phone from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at +49 (0)89 890237 – 100. Please always have the serial number and model of your laser ready.

Where Can I Find the Serial Number of My Laser System?

This can be found on the type plate of the laser system.

Where Can I Order Spare Parts and Accessories for My Laser System?

Please contact your local distribution partner for spare parts. If you have purchased your ALPHA laser directly from us, please contact our service department.

I Want to Return a Part for Repair.

Please request an RMA form from us before mailing the defective item. The RMA form and the defective part must be sent together. 

I Have Received a Replacement Part. What Do I Need to Consider to Return the Old Item?

If you have received an exchange/warranty part, please request an RMA form from the service department. After you have received the RMA form, mail it together with the part to ALPHA LASER GmbH.

My Laser's Performance Has Decreased.

The flash lamp is a wear part. Lamp fatigue is recognized by a loss in laser power. The flash lamp can also break. Then it is time to replace the flash lamp. During commissioning of your laser system, we showed you or your staff how to replace the laser lamp. The instruction manual also has a chapter on regular maintenance and how to change the flash lamp. If you have any questions or are reluctant to make the change yourself, we would be glad to help you.

Does My Alpha Laser Require Maintenance?

ALPHA LASER recommends annual maintenance of your laser system. Some tasks, such as replacing the filter and protective glass, can be carried out by yourself. But a thorough cleaning, verification of the components, and adjusting the laser beam path requires a service technician. We are happy to offer our customers a maintenance contract. In this case, you have total peace of mind. The only thing you need to worry about is scheduling a time with the technician. Please contact our service department if your are interested.

How Long Is the Warranty Period?

The warranty ends 1 year after delivery of the machine.* The serial number indicates in which month and year the warranty of your machine started. (Serial numbers example: XXXXXXXX – MM.YY) *Unless otherwise agreed during the sale transaction.

The Flash Lamp Is Worn or Broken. What Now?

If the laser power is low or the flash lamp is broken, it is time to replace it. During commissioning of the machine, you were instructed in replacing the flash lamp. Instructions for replacing the flash lamp are also provided in the operating instructions (under??). If you have difficulties, please contact our service department.
